I am Gabie, founder of WOVA.
I grew up in a doctor's household where medical expertise and mindful health choices coexisted naturally.
When I faced my own fertility challenges years later in the US, I truly understood the value of her integrated approach.
During my journey with male factor infertility in my 20s and unexplained infertility in my 30s, I saw how divided this world can be. Clinics often overlook lifestyle factors, while some practitioners dismiss medical treatments. I witnessed friends pressured into expensive treatments without exploring other options first, or told IVF was their only path when underlying issues hadn't been addressed. The miscommunication and misinformation was overwhelming.
After three IVF cycles and finally welcoming my daughter Victoria, I knew something had to change. With 15+ years of experience in finance and strategy, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, I've seen firsthand how to bridge gaps and build better systems.
